The Book Binding window contains setup and per thousand cost information for various types of binding.  The information can be entered either before or during estimate calculation.  Various binding operations are listed in the bottom panel, and both a setup cost and cost per thousand entry can be entered.  When calculating an estimate, the setup cost plus cost per thousand values are used.  There are 2 separate binding data tables, one for in-house binding, and another for external binding.  Only one binding operation may be included in an estimate.

 

This window uses a standard editing method used in all similar windows.  Since it is an "edit-on-the-fly" window, the same window is used to edit the data table, and also to select information for insertion into the main estimate window.  The editing functions work as follows:   The New button is used to clear the data in preparation for adding a new entry to the list. The Add button is used to add the new entry to the list. The Add/OK button is used to add and select the new entry for transfer to the estimate window. The Delete button removes the selected item from the table. The Cancel button closes the window without making any selection. The OK button transfers the currently selected item to the main estimate window.
